"de-re-compose"

Local artist Mieko Anekawa allows her own nature depictions on paper to deteriorate naturally or by hand, then recomposes them. Similarly, she guided kids to extend the possibilities of their own compositions with a pair of scissors. Students cut up their gel pen drawings and collaged them. As pieces were reassembled, new harmonies emerged.
